This is particularly important due to the high calorie content of alcoholic drinks, which can impede weight loss and the increased risk of experiencing nausea, vomiting, and dehydration, common side effects of medication. Ozempic delays gastric emptying and promotes reduced food intake, it is especially important to limit alcohol intake. This is because excessive alcohol consumption can slow down the normal movements of your stomach, increasing the likelihood of experiencing side effects such as nausea and vomiting. As such, we recommend limiting your alcohol consumption.

The medication comes inside an injectable pen. Every month you will be delivered enough pens for 1 per week. Once a week you will inject the pen into yourself

To ensure the safe disposal of needles, we provide sharps bins in the first package to all Weight Loss Clinic customers. Our 1L sharps bins, which are shipped with your first package, are suitable for safe disposal of needles for nearly a year, considering Ozempic’s weekly injection. When your sharps bin is full or upon completion of the program, you can take it to your local pharmacy for proper disposal.

Our clinical team recommends sticking as closely as possible to the weekly schedule provided by your clinician to achieve optimal results from the program. In the event that you miss a dose, our medical team advises that it’s acceptable to take the missed dose as long as it’s within 5 days of the missed dose. If you take the missed dose within this time frame, resume your regular schedule by taking the next dose on your usual day. If it’s been more than 5 days but less than 2 weeks since you missed a dose, simply skip that dose and continue with the next scheduled dose on its regular day.

It is recommended to store Ozempic weekly injection pens in the refrigerator between 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). Storing the pens at the appropriate temperature ensures that the medication remains effective and safe for use. Before using the injection, it is advised to take the pen out of the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature for approximately 30 minutes to ensure that the medication is comfortable to administer.
