In 2021, YouGov conducted an online survey as part of the British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week to examine the changes in diet and lifestyle people made over the last year since the pandemic began.

69% of respondents say they planned their meals in advance over the past year, most commonly when planning their shopping (45%).

One statistic identified that 50% of the respondents mentioned starting a new activity to stay active over the last year, while another found 33% of people stated they have included more fruits and vegetables in their diets.
